Calculate Your Yearly Utility Savings with air sealing and insulation

It’s true that you’ll most likely get some energy savings, but the real benefit might be comfort instead. By sealing up gaps and cracks, and perhaps beefing up the insulation, we can keep the conditioned air inside the home for longer. This is what saves you money at the same time.

Finally, a comfortable home.

Many homes in the DC area naturally have stack effect, multiple levels, are leaky by nature, and have missing insulation. The fact that it may be newer built or renovated does not necessarily mean it was built with energy efficiency and comfort in mind.

With our BPI-Certified blower door tests, CAZ (combustion appliance zone) testing, and infrared home X-ray camera walkthroughs, we can narrow down to exactly where the problem areas are and we’ll come up with a plan to fix them.

We present the different projects that is likely to make a difference, and you can pick and choose what you like. We’re all about a holistic approach and what makes sense your household and what’s within your budget.

Combustion Appliance Zone testing is a standard procedure done during BPI Certified home energy audits. Your safety and health come first, and that’s what we test for here. We make sure that all gas appliances aren’t leaking, are venting properly, and that there’s not excess spillage into your home interior air.

Part of the whole home electrification movement is to move away from gas appliances completely, and we offer this full service as well. An energy audit is still the very beginning requirement to begin that planning.
